Delhi’s Air Quality Dips to ‘Very Poor’ Category as Winter Smog Settles In

The smog in Delhi is so thick that it can be noticed from the space.

The indian capital is currently experiencing polution levels that are at least 30-35 times the safe limit recommended by the WHO (World Health Organization) AQI (Air Quality Index). Government authorities of india have issued advisories to minimize outdoor activities and urged residents to wear masks. Every Year , Delhi and northern states battle hazardous air during the winter months of October to January due to plummeting temperatures, smoke, dust low wind speed, vechicular emissions and crop stubble burning.
