Resignation of Chief Secreatary-Dr Baikuntha Aryal

Dr Baikuntha Aryal, who was appointed on June 15, 2023, as the Chief Secretary of the National Planning Commission (NPC) has resigned from his post.

The upcoming Cabinet meeting will make a decision regarding his resignation. According to sources close to him, he, who had only attended the NPC on Sunday, submitted his resignation today.

Aryal, who was spare in a corruption case on October 30, attended his office at the NPC as a ‘special officer’ only on Sunday.
