Durga Parsia to be Investigated Following Cybercrime Charges, Judicial Custody Extended
Durga parsia will be investigated on the recent cybercrime charges after obtaining judicial custody elongation from the court. Durga Prasai, a medical entrepreneur who was arrested on tuesday, in charges of disseminating false information on social networking sites about Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. has been brought to the Kathmandu District Court for remand elongation. According to Nepal Police CIB spokesperson Habindra Bogati, stated that Prasain was arrested for spreading hatred and malice by spreading misleading information about PM KP Oli’s investment in Cambodia, which affected public morals and manners. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has presented Prasai to the court for an extension of time, as stated by Superintendent of Police (SP) Hobindra Bogati.
