Ravi Lamichhane Brought Before Court in Cooperative Fraud Case

Ravi Lamichhane, the president of the Rastriya Swatanra Party (RSP)), who was arrested in connection with a cooperative fraud case, has been presented before the Kaski District Court. This appearance comes after the expiration of a 13-day extension granted on November 10th.

Lamichhane was arrested from Kathmandu on November 2nd for his involvement in the ongoing investigation into the cooperative fraud case. He is currently being held in custody at the District Police Office in Kaski. In addition to charges related to cooperative fraud, Lamichhane is also under investigation for organized crime and money laundering charges.
