In a historic milestone for Nepal’s aviation sector, a single-engine private jet from the European company Zell Air made the first-ever chartered flight from India to the newly operational Pokhara Regional International Airport (PRIA). The plane, inbound from New Delhi, landed at 5:50 pm on Thursday, marking the first international commercial arrival since the airport’s opening nearly two years ago. According to PRIA spokesperson, Jashoda Subedi, the aircraft was carrying four passengers, including the crew. The plane will remain overnight in Pokhara before departing for Bangladesh on Friday. This landmark flight highlights the growing international connectivity of Pokhara’s regional airport.
