Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Concludes Four-Day Official Visit to China
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli returned to Nepal this afternoon after a four-day official visit to China. Upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, he was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakash Man Singh, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Heads of Security Agencies, and other high-ranking officials. Prime Minister Oli had traveled to Beijing on December 2 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang. During his stay, he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, held bilateral talks, and oversaw the signing of several agreements, including a framework agreement on Belt and Road Cooperation. Additionally, Prime Minister Oli delivered a keynote speech on “Comprehensive Democracy: A Journey towards ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’” at Peking University and addressed the ‘Nepal-China Business Summit’ on Wednesday. The Nepali delegation included the Prime Minister’s spouse Radhika Shakya, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, members of parliament, high-ranking officials, private sector representatives, and media personnel.
