Chitwan Rhinos and Lumbini Lions Face Off in First NPL Match Today; Karnali Yaks to Battle Pokhara Avengers in Second Match
The Nepal Premier League (NPL) will feature two exciting matches today at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The first match of the day will see the Chitwan Rhinos take on the Lumbini Lions, starting at 9 AM. The Rhinos, currently in third place on the points table with 6 points, have had a solid campaign so far, winning three out of their four matches. Their wins include a five-wicket victory over Kathmandu Gorkhas, an 87-run triumph over Pokhara Avengers, and a 33-run win over Sudurpaschim Royals. However, they suffered a 6-wicket defeat to Karnali Yaks in their third match. In the second match of the day, Karnali Yaks will face Pokhara Avengers at 1 PM. The Yaks, who handed the Rhinos their only loss, will look to continue their strong performance as they take on the Avengers.
