Nepal Rastra Bank Sets New Exchange Rates for Sunday; Most Foreign Currencies See a Decline

The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official exchange rates for foreign currencies for Sunday, with most major currencies seeing a decrease in value. According to the new rates, the purchase rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 135.37, while the selling rate is Rs 135.97.

The European Euro will be purchased at Rs 142.02 and sold at Rs 142.65, reflecting a slight drop in value. The UK Pound Sterling is now being exchanged at a purchase rate of Rs 171.28 and a selling rate of Rs 172.04. Similarly, the Swiss Franc’s rates are Rs 151.46 for purchasing and Rs 152.13 for selling.

For other major currencies, the purchase rate for the Australian Dollar has been set at Rs 86.25, with a selling rate of Rs 86.63. The Canadian Dollar’s purchase rate is Rs 95.21, with a selling rate of Rs 95.63, while the Singapore Dollar is priced at Rs 100.41 for purchase and Rs 100.85 for selling.

These adjusted rates reflect the ongoing fluctuations in the global currency market, with the NRB continuing to monitor and adjust the rates as necessary.
