Hollywood studio Sony has unveiled its highly anticipated martial arts-based film series, Karate Kid: Legends, set for release on May 30, 2025. This action-packed film stars legendary actor Jackie Chan, alongside Ralph Macchio, who reunites with his iconic role as Daniel LaRusso. Chan will portray the beloved character Mr. Han, a role he made famous in the 2010 Karate Kid reboot. The film also introduces Chinese-American actor Ben Wang, who plays Li Fong, a new student in the Karate Kid universe. Wang was selected after a global audition held by Chan and Macchio, which added to the excitement surrounding the film. Jackie Chan’s global popularity extends beyond the screen, and his fanbase includes many in Nepal.
