PM Oli Announces Process to Transfer All TU Land under Its Ownership

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has confirmed that all land belonging to Tribhuvan University (TU) will soon be brought under its official name. In a statement shared via social media on Wednesday, PM Oli outlined the process of transferring the Lalita Niwas land to the government, adding that TU’s land will also follow the same procedure.
The Prime Minister noted that a commission was formed in 2076 BS under the leadership of Sharada Prasad Trital from the Council of Ministers to investigate the Lalita Niwas land. Oli mentioned that the case is still ongoing as part of efforts to officially transfer the property to the government.
“This initiative is part of our ongoing work to ensure that all public land, including that of TU, is securely transferred to its rightful ownership,” PM Oli wrote.
