Hamas to Release Four Israeli Soldiers in Exchange for Palestinian Prisoners

Hamas is set to release four female Israeli soldiers on Saturday as part of a prisoner exchange agreement. The soldiers—Karina Ariev, Daniela Gilboa, Naama Levy, and Liri Albag—were captured by Hamas fighters when their base near Gaza was attacked on October 7, 2023.

In return, 200 Palestinian prisoners are expected to be freed, including 120 who are serving life sentences. This release is part of a ceasefire agreement aimed at ending the ongoing war in Gaza.
