British and German Tourists Die in Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan authorities have launched an investigation following the deaths of two female tourists, a 24-year-old British national and a 26-year-old German, who fell seriously ill at their hostel in the capital, Colombo. The British woman, identified as Ebony McIntosh, reportedly suffered from severe vomiting, nausea, and difficulty breathing before being rushed to a local hospital. Despite medical efforts, McIntosh and her German companion passed away shortly after being admitted.

The two women had been staying at the same hostel when they began to show signs of illness. Their sudden deterioration raised concerns, prompting an inquiry into the possible causes of their deaths. Family members of McIntosh have expressed their shock and grief, seeking answers about the circumstances surrounding her tragic passing.
