The Eagles’ 40-22 win over the Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Sunday was not short on surprises. Here are some of the most unforgettable moments:

President Trump at the Super Bowl

President Donald Trump became the first serving president to attend the Super Bowl. He did a quick lap of the field before retiring to his box, where he sat with his children Ivanka and Eric. He was applauded when he appeared on the big screens during the national anthem but did not stay to see the end of the game.

Taylor Swift Booed

Pop star Taylor Swift, there to support her partner Travis Kelce of Kansas City, was booed when she appeared on the screens during a break in the game. Swift awkwardly smiled but kept going

Halftime-Kendrick Lamar

Hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar became the first solo hip-hop performer to appear at the Super Bowl halftime show. He performed hits such as “Humble” and “DNA,” among other new songs. Many expected him to offend Trump, and indeed he did with his line: “The revolution will be televised, you chose the right time, but not the right guy.”

Palestinian Flag Incident

During Lamar’s performance, a person dressed like a dancer climbed onto his car and waved a Palestinian flag before being caught by security.

Super Bowl Ads to Remember

The Super Bowl ads were star-studded: Meg Ryan in a funny recreation of a scene from *When Harry Met Sally* and Matt Damon in a beer ad. Advertisers paid $8 million for a 30-second spot. Many ads were centered on unity, such as those featuring Snoop Dogg, Tom Brady, and Harrison Ford. OpenAI ran a minimalist ad that went viral online, while Google’s ad about a stay-at-home dad getting ready for a job interview tugged at viewers’ heartstrings.
