The United States government has dropped $39 million worth of aid that was initially intended for Nepal’s fiscal federalism as well as biodiversity conservation projects. The decision forms part of a wide-ranging move to cut foreign assistance across numerous fields. Nepal would receive $20 million for fiscal federalism and $19 million for biodiversity programs. These are part of a broader reevaluation of US aid to countries, which also extends to other countries like Bangladesh, Serbia, and Cambodia.
