Two Nepali Nationals Tragically Drown in Car Accident in Virginia, USA

Two Nepali nationals, 55-year-old Karna Khadka and 20-year-old Nishchal Bhatta, tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Chantilly, Virginia, on Thursday morning. According to NBC Washington, the incident occurred around 7:30 AM when their vehicle lost control on icy roads and plunged into a pond in the parking lot of the Wyndham Hotel.

The car, which fell into approximately 10 feet of water, resulted in both men drowning. Authorities have yet to release further details, but it is confirmed that the victims were unable to escape the submerged vehicle in time.
