Pokhara Avengers Secure Maiden NPL Victory with Unbeaten Century by Andries Gous

Pokhara Avengers registered their first-ever victory in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Friday, defeating Lumbini Lions by 10 wickets at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Chasing a target of 171 runs, Pokhara Avengers achieved the total comfortably, scoring 176 runs in just 16.5 overs without losing a wicket. Lumbini Lions had earlier set the target with 170 runs, driven by a stellar 95-run performance from Captain Rohit Paudel. However, it was Pokhara’s openers who dominated the chase, with Andries Gous leading the charge. Gous hit the first-ever century of the tournament, remaining unbeaten on 61 runs, and guided his team to a thrilling victory.
