NOC Increases Petrol Price, Reduces Diesel and Kerosene Prices
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a price hike for petrol and a price reduction for diesel and kerosene, effective from midnight on Sunday. The new pricing reflects an Rs 2 increase per liter for petrol, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been reduced by Rs 2 per liter. Under the revised rates, petrol will cost Rs 159.50 per liter in first-category locations, including Charaali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj. In second-category locations like Surkhet and Dang, the price will be Rs 161 per liter, and in third-category locations, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, petrol will be priced at Rs 162 per liter. Meanwhile, diesel and kerosene will now cost Rs 148.50 per liter in first-category locations, Rs 150 per liter in second-category areas, and Rs 151 per liter in third-category regions. The new prices will be applicable within a 15-kilometer radius of the respective depots.
