In the ongoing ACC U-19 Women’s Asia Cup cricket in Malaysia, Nepal secured a 6-wicket victory over Pakistan, successfully chasing down the target of 105 runs with one over to spare. Captain Pooja Mahato led the charge, remaining unbeaten on 47 runs. Earlier contributions came from Soni Pakhrin with 13 runs and opener Sana Praveen, who scored 10 runs.

Pakistan had set a target of 105, scoring 104 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs, with Komal Khan top-scoring with 38 runs. Having already lost their first match to India, Pakistan’s hopes of progressing were dashed. With this victory, Nepal has advanced to the Super Four stage of the tournament.
