Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his willingness to engage in a conversation with US President-elect Donald Trump, stating he is ready for a meeting at any time. Speaking during his annual Direct Line Q&A and year-end press conference, Putin confirmed that he would be open to meeting with Trump if the opportunity arises. However, he emphasized that he is unsure when such a meeting might occur, as Trump has not made any formal suggestions about it.

Putin also revealed that he has not spoken with Trump for more than four years. Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova indicated that Moscow is open to engaging with the incoming US administration to address the ongoing Ukrainian crisis. However, she noted that Russia has not received any substantial proposals from Trump’s team regarding such talks.
